Danish Flowers

Papaver  'Danish Flag'

These are rather large poppies that are about 3 feet high and spread to a width of about 1 foot.  The flowers are approximately 4 inches across, red with a striking white cross similar to the Danish flag.  Petals have fringed edges. The foliage is an attractive bluish-green.  This is a frost hardy annual that reseeds itself and blooms in summer.
